The Verbeke Foundation wishes to offer artists and organisations accessory support for the realization of art projects.

Production of exhibitions

With the support of our technical staff we are able to execute exhibition productions on location:
- Leo Copers: Middelheim open air museum, 2008, complete assembly of the exhibition with e.g. installation of light sculptures, fire sculptures, soundscapes…
- Frans Van Praet: Brussels, Design Vlaanderen Galery, 2008, assembly of his solo exhibition
- Antwerp Sculpture Show 2008, execution of the framing and concreting of plinths.

Help with registering

Given the recruitment of a fulltime curator we are able to support artists (and heirs of artists) with help and advice to organize their archives.

Publications

The Verbeke Foundation can take care of the publication for some exhibitions. A number of books have already been published.

Transport of works of art

In view of Geert Verbeke’s background (approximately 30 years of experience in transport and logistics) and the actual demand for transport among artists, we also want make available our knowhow to artists and organisations for the dispatch of works of art: From making crates over collecting works and booking containers to trucking containers and concluding the customs formalities. A complete logistic service to go short.
Some executed transports:
- Koen Vanmechelen: exhibition in Miami, November 2007: packing, containerstuffing, containertrucking, gasification, ship broking, concluding the customs formalities
- Stijn Coollen: exhibition in Knokke (Belgium), 2008: containertrucking
- Mass & Individual Moving: loading crane aided transport
