You can sleep in an artwork!

You are welcome to spend a night in a specially designed artwork: CasAnus, Joep van Lieshout’s intallation designed to resemble a part of the large intestine, or the Campingflat by Kevin van Braak. The admission to the museum is included in the cost of overnight accommodation. To go out for a dinner we are happy to recommend some places nearby the Verbeke Foundation.

CasAnus by Joep van Lieshout

This polyester sculpture, a gigantic replica of the human digestive system was designed by the Dutch artist Joep Van Lieshout as an exclusive apartment. The raw natural shapes and colours stand in sharp contrast to the pristine white interior of the construction.

The room contains a double bed, a table, a shower and a toilet. CasAnus is also equipped with lightening, running water and electric heating.

One night in Joep Van Lieshout’s installation costs €120 for two people. Breakfast and access to the museum are included in the price.

CampingFlat by Kevin van Braak

For those who are satisfied with less comfortable accommodation, there is a possibility to stay in the CampingFlat.
Installation designed by Kevin van Braak consists of a 12 meter high scaffolding construction divided into four floors. Each floor has a ground made of artificial turf with a tent. The tower gives a magnificent view!

We provide both tents and air mattresses. Sleeping bags and pillows need to be supplied by the guests themselves. Toilet and bathroom facilities are located nearby the CampingFlat.

One night in the Camping Flat costs only €35 for two people or €50 including breakfast at Open House Café at the Verbeke Foundation.
